Description

This is a vintage Art Deco style Ballerina figurine made of polished Mexican Pewter. She stands 12" tall and is 8" wide from fingertip to fingertip. She is approximately 2 inches wide. The pedestal is 4" wide. This is a very eye-catching and elegant piece that the previous owner picked up in a shop in Italy. Mexican Pewter is made with 95% aluminum and 5% zinc. It is different from English and American Pewter which are made primarily of tin and are more delicate. Mexican Pewter is often compared with the look and durability of silver yet, Mexican Pewter does not tarnish and requires little maintenance.
