Maurice Frecourt Bronze Parrot Sculpture Signed "FRECOURT" on base as pictured 5" tall, base measures 3 1/2" x 1 7/8" Weighs 14 oz Bronze has a hole drilled in base suggesting it would have been attached to a marble base at some point - drilled hole extends up into the underside of the bird figure - see pictures Maurice Frecourt was a French impressionist and modern artist born in 1890 and died in 1961, his animal bronzes and car mascots are the most common items appearing in auction databases This parrot appears to be a rare piece with no other parrot sculptures having been found in the auction records FREE USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE SHIPPING
