Description
Up for your consideration is a stunning Art Deco bronze sculpture. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This has been displayed in my home for many years. It’s probably French. He spent a great deal of time in France. It’s very very heavy. It’s unsigned but really well executed. For a small piece, it commands your attention. Always a conversation piece. This stunning bronze sculpture is a one-of-a-kind piece that captures the essence of mid-century modern art. With its brutalist expressionism and abstract cubist style, it is sure to add a touch of sophistication to any room. Handmade in France during the Art Deco period (1920-1940), this statue stands at 10 inches tall and measures 3 inches in length and width. The marble base measures 5 inches by 5 inches. The sculpture features famous paintings and painters, as well as a portrait of a figure from the lost artists of time. Crafted using bronze casting production technique, this original piece is signed with the artist's signature. Perfect for any art enthusiast, this unique statue is a must-have addition to any collection. From my personal collection. Selling to downsize a bit. New items listed every week.
