RARE! The only other one I’ve been able to locate is priced at $585!! This was purchased at an estate sale. I believe it to be zinc and made in the 1920’s based on my research but please review all photos because I am not an expert. Possibly designed by Frankart or at least in the Frankart style. Art Deco zinc flapper portrait bust, with her head tilted wearing a bobbed haircut, raised on a painted wood plinth base. DETAILS Dimensions Height: 6 in Width: 6.5 in (16.51 cm) Depth: 4.5 in Style: Art Deco (Of the Period) Materials and Techniques: Wood, Zinc Place of Origin: United States Period: 20th Century Date of Manufacture: 1920s CONDITION: Good with some wear and surface imperfections, some pin-sized spots of white, possibly paint spatter? The head is a little loose and can be moved a bit on the wood base. See photos for exact condition!! I am guessing that with some elbow grease and waxing this could really bring this tremendous and beautiful piece of art back to life!! Wear consistent with age and use.
