Description

Antique hand carved marble plaque. Circa 1930 ??? This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE hand carved marble plaque ( sign ), depicting a woman face, seated . I am not sure if it represents a sphinx ( Pharaonic figure ) or probably Maya or Aztec face. The hand carving is beautifully done. Possibly quartz or onyx. White square plaque. Can be used indoor or outdoor. Art deco style. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the piece. Dimensions : H : 12 inches ( 30 cm ) Thickness : 0.75 inches ( 2 cm ) W : 12 inches ( 30 cm ) Weight : 10 lbs 13 oz ( 5 kgs ) Condition report : Minor scratches, minor chips specially on the back. No cracks or damage. 2 small chips ( one front and one back ).( see photos ). Some discoloration due to age ( see photos ). I cleaned it and waxed it. Ready to be placed. GOOD CONDITION
