Pure bronze, Art Deco, signed, "Footsteps" figurine, securely mounted on a turned black marble base. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique, is securely mounted on a black marble base. Dimensional Data The statue, overall, is 380 mm (15") high, to top of her right hand & weighs 2,7 kgs (5,9 lbs ) The stepped black marble base is 128 mm (5") diameter at its maximum, x 84 mm (3 5/16") high. General A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. A reproduction of the original, Art Deco c1925 version by Dimitre H Chiparus ( 1886 - 1947 ) a famous Romanian Art Deco era sculptor, This one is signed "D H Chiparus", & carries the foundry coin.
