A wonderful rendition of Jesus Christ, by listed Italian sculptor Ettore Ferrari [1845-1929]. It is regal, well presented, with a fine, aged patina to the bronze surface. Signed by Ferrari and dated 1928, the height of the Art Deco era, which influenced the aesthetic. Cast by the 'American Art Foundry of New York'. Condition is very good. Stands 7.875" in height.
