Vintage Ladybird Series 401. Set of 14 matt covered books plus the further 4 later additions to the series. I’m selling my collection of Ladybird 401 series. A favourite as a child, I decided to collect them again as an adult. Now with my grandchildren are growing up, it’s time for someone else to enjoy these delightful books. These hardback books are filled with illustrated rhyming stories of cute creatures that will bring pleasure to readers of all ages. 14 have the matt covers of the earlier editions. They are generally in good condition for their age. Covers and edges are worn and one is missing the outer spine. Other minor marks, creases and stickers commensurate with age but none detract from the stories. One book has an inner cover page missing but this doesn’t affect the main body of the book. Book spines are intact. Please see photos for examples of condition and some of the text. The later additions are also included, 2 with matt covers and 2 with gloss covers. Please see photos.
